Setting Up Your VerbAI Tracker and Personal MCP Server

This guide will walk you through creating your own VerbAI tracker, enabling you to collect and access your personal behavioral data through a dedicated MCP server. With VerbAI, you can monitor the internet traffic from your smartphone and use that data to power AI applications built around your own digital behavior.

Think about the possibilities: your search queries, videos you watch, news you read, and social media interactions contain valuable insights that can elevate your next AI project.

1

Create Your VerbAI Account

Start by creating an account using the link below:

Once your account is created, follow the instructions to set up the VPN. You will also receive a detailed setup guide via email. It is important to follow each step carefully, as the VPN acts as your data tracker. When the tracker is enabled, your interactions will be recorded and made accessible to you through your personal VerbAI MCP.

2

Complete the VPN Setup

The VerbAI tracker functions is a VPN. When it is turned on, it securely captures your device's outgoing traffic. This includes:

  • Search queries

  • Videos you watch

  • Articles and news you read

  • Social media interactions

  • and more!

This data becomes available only to you through your own private MCP environment.

Make sure to complete all setup steps exactly as provided in your onboarding email to ensure proper data collection. You also have the option to upload data dumps from platforms like Instagram and TikTok at a later stage, but for the initial setup, the VPN alone is sufficient.

For the best results, keep the tracker active for at least 24 hours. This allows enough data to be collected for meaningful behavioral patterns to emerge. As a general rule, the longer the tracker remains active, the richer and more accurate the insights will be when retrieving and processing your data through the MCP.

3

Generate Your Personal MCP API Key

After your tracker is active, create your personal MCP API key. This key allows you to authenticate and retrieve data from your MCP server using tools such as n8n or the Gemini CLI.

Keep this key secure. Anyone with access to it can query your MCP server.

4

View and Monitor Your Data

Once everything is connected, your data will begin streaming into VerbAI. In the Data & Privacy section of your dashboard, you will see:

  • A live graph of collected data

  • The amount of processed data

  • Indicators of real‑time ingestion

You may experience a short delay (typically a few minutes) between the moment data is captured and when it appears as processed. Verb also filters out noisy or low‑value data, processing only information deemed meaningful, so some captured activity may not appear in the processed data view. Refresh the page periodically to check on the progress.

Next Steps

With data flowing through your MCP, you can now:

  • Build custom AI features powered entirely by your personal behavior data

  • Connect your MCP to automation workflows

  • Run analytics on your digital activity

Your VerbAI tracker empowers you to create applications that are personalized, private, and driven by your own data.
